Happy 2023! A new year means trying new things, and that’s what I’m all about here at The Pittsburgh Writer. Over the years many ideas have come and gone, worked and not worked. Not only have I been reviewing more books, but I decided to participate in book tours! I’ve joined several blog touring host sites, and who knows where this venture will go but I’m going to give it the good ol’ college try. Keep your eyes peeled for whichever blog tour comes first!

While we wait for things to happen, have a read of some of my reviews from 2022 and my growing review collection of 2023.

Are you an author looking for folks to participate in your cover reveal or blog tour? I’m available for either! Please feel free to contact me at thepittsburghwriter@gmail.com. See below for the genres I review:

Favorite Genres: Historical Fiction, Adventure, Mysteries, Historical Fantasy, Romance, *some* Gothic and Thriller
What I Won’t Read: Dual timelines, WWI/WWII, stories set in Paris, too many POVs

All that to say I’m not unwilling to try new things. If I feel we’ll be a good fit, I’ll definitely consider reading and reviewing. Please note, however, that I am not the greatest beta reader. That’s an entirely different thing and there are others out there who have the perfect heart for it. In the meantime, keep an eye out for the first tours below, coming 2023!
