There comes a time in every blogger’s career when they just need some new ideas. It usually comes at the end of the year when all other topics have been exhausted. And so I spent a recent afternoon searching the web for something new.
Found over on the blog, One Book More, I stumbled upon this fantastic idea: Spell the Month. As I am always behind the times when it comes to what’s popular or fashionable (all one needs to do is look at my yearbook photos from grade school through high school to see that), I don’t know who originated Spell the Month. (Upon further research, I think it came from Reviews from the Stacks).
Everybody, naturally, puts their own little twist on such blog tags, so I’ll make it my own as well. For my very first Spell the Month, I will include books I hope to read in the coming month – January 2023! And for the second twist, I’ll go by the author’s name instead of the book title. Let’s begin! (Oh…and I can’t tell you why suddenly almost all these reads are romances. Guess that’s just how the cookies crumbled!)
